“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.”

WELCOME

Arranging a funeral can be a daunting experience. If you are looking for a celebrant, you may have suffered loss yourself or be searching on behalf of someone you know. Either way, I am sorry that you are facing difficult times, grief is hard and there is no right or wrong way to feel.

There is also no right or wrong funeral service. I firmly believe that a funeral should be a true picture of the person who has died, representing everything about who they were and what they meant to the people they shared their life with. Everyone is different and every funeral should reflect and celebrate those differences.

Don’t be afraid to have the service you want. It could be a traditional burial or in a crematorium, or it could be in a venue off the beaten track. Sports clubs, village halls, gardens, theatres and even a disused factory! Everything is possible and I am more than happy to help you realise your plans.

My style of service is gentle, down to earth, honest and spoken with love. I approach every ceremony as if I were writing it for one of my own. I am professional, organised and I am available for you to contact at any time with any questions or thoughts you would like to discuss.

Whatever type of service you want, I consider it a privilege being able to help you create and organise a unique and personal ceremony. Working closely with you and your funeral director or co-ordinator, I will meet with you and listen to your story. I will take time to create a meaningful and loving tribute, with your words and wishes at the centre of it. We will say goodbye in the way you would like, whether that is simple and dignified, or with colour and laughter, I will be there to support you and the choices you make.

Relationships are as varied and complex as the people we share them with, and I will never come with any judgement. It’s my job to help you find the best way to acknowledge the person who has died, the part they played in your life and to tell their story, whatever the circumstances.

As a Civil Funeral Celebrant, I represent a “halfway house”, between a fully religious service and Humanist service containing no religious or spiritual element at all. Whatever the beliefs of you or your loved one, I am happy to incorporate them into the ceremony, and to make it truly bespoke.

WELCOME
